Zines are self-made independent publications that privilege the personal voice. Lo-fi channels of media and dissemination, they are excellent feminist resources for talking about our lives (making connections between individual experiences and social structures), sharing ideas and toolkits for political actions, building a movement, and showcasing our writing and art.
