Collectives from the British Women's Liberation Movement (WLM) published several anthologies; bringing together articles, personal experiences, conference papers, illustrations, reading lists and resources from within the movement.

The texts were often edited and produced by feminist working groups- with women doing the editing, typesetting, lay-out and design. These anthologies were distributed both commercially - through bookshops - and through the movement's own channels. They attempted to document key writings, to bring feminist activism and issues to a wider public, and to counteract misleading press reports on the WLM.
